Official Statement : ISLAMICRUISE® AROYA RECOVERY PLAN

ISLAMICRUISE® AROYA RECOVERY PLAN

Assalamu’alaikum WBT.

We fully understand the concerns and feelings of everyone affected by the postponement of the AROYA IslamiCruise 2026 voyage. We also recognise that the trust placed in us is a great responsibility.

What happened was never something we anticipated.

From the very first day this situation arose, we have never stopped working towards a solution. Until today, we continue to take proactive steps by developing various recovery initiatives, rather than relying solely on the outcome of discussions with the vessel operator.

One of our earliest initiatives was the introduction of a Credit Note programme, allowing affected customers to utilise their payments for future cruises or other travel packages. Alhamdulillah, this initiative remains active, and a number of customers have successfully resolved their arrangements through this option. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to those who have supported and participated in this initiative.

As a continuation of these efforts, and with the support and corporate collaboration of Intratama Travel Consultant & Tours (M) Sdn. Bhd., we are now introducing our latest recovery initiative through the 7-Series Voyage Recovery Plan (please refer to the accompanying poster). The objective of this initiative is to generate revenue that will assist in progressively returning a portion of payments to affected customers, while continuing to provide practical recovery options.

For transparency, all customer payments collected during the sales period were transferred to the vessel operator in accordance with the agreed procedures, with full documentation and accountability. No customer funds were retained or held by our company.

Nevertheless, we have chosen to continue carrying the moral responsibility towards our affected customers. We have not disappeared, ceased operations, or walked away from this responsibility. Last week, we also distributed a detailed official update to all affected customers and sales agents, outlining the latest developments, our recovery plan, and the available recovery options.

We firmly believe that this recovery process can only move forward if we are given the opportunity to rebuild. Public support for this initiative not only helps ensure the success of the upcoming voyages but also contributes to our ongoing efforts to implement the recovery plan for affected customers.

We do not expect trust to be restored through words alone. We hope to rebuild that trust through the actions, commitment, and continuous efforts we are demonstrating today.

Therefore, we sincerely ask for the opportunity to prove that we are fully committed to fulfilling this responsibility with integrity and accountability.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support us, keep us in your prayers, and give us the opportunity to move forward. Insha’Allah, we will continue striving to fulfil this responsibility to the very best of our ability.

PELAN PEMULIHAN ISLAMICRUISE® AROYA

Kami memahami sepenuhnya perasaan semua pihak yang terkesan dengan penangguhan Pelayaran AROYA IslamiCruise 2026. Kami juga sedar bahawa kepercayaan yang diberikan kepada kami adalah satu amanah yang sangat besar.

Apa yang berlaku bukanlah sesuatu yang kami jangkakan.

Sejak hari pertama perkara ini berlaku, kami tidak pernah berhenti mencari jalan penyelesaian. Sehingga hari ini, kami terus berusaha secara proaktif dengan merangka pelbagai inisiatif pemulihan tanpa hanya bergantung kepada keputusan rundingan bersama pihak penyewa kapal.

Antara usaha terawal yang telah dilaksanakan ialah menawarkan Credit Note kepada pelanggan yang ingin menyertai pelayaran atau pakej lain. Alhamdulillah, inisiatif ini masih berjalan dan telah membantu sebahagian pelanggan menyelesaikan urusan mereka. Terima kasih & Tahniah kami ucapkan atas bantuan pelanggan yang menyokong dan telah bersama dalam inisiatif penyelesaian sebelum ini.

Sebagai langkah susulan, kami dengan bantuan dan kerjasama korporat dengan Intratama Travel Consultant & Tours (M) Sdn. Bhd. kini memperkenalkan Pelan Pemulihan melalui 7 siri pelayaran berturut-turut (rujuk poster). Inisiatif ini bertujuan menjana hasil bagi membantu memulangkan semula sebahagian bayaran kepada pelanggan yang terkesan secara berperingkat, di samping menyediakan pilihan penyelesaian yang bersesuaian.

Untuk makluman, kesemua pembayaran pelanggan telah diserahkan kepada pihak penyewa kapal mengikut prosedur, secara telus, amanah dan didokumentasikan. Tiada dana pelanggan yang dipegang atau disimpan oleh pihak kami.

Walaupun begitu, kami tetap memilih untuk memikul tanggungjawab moral terhadap pelanggan yang terkesan. Kami tidak menghilangkan diri, tidak menutup operasi dan tidak lari daripada amanah ini. Minggu lalu, kami juga telah mengedarkan surat makluman rasmi yang lebih terperinci kepada semua pelanggan dan ejen jualan bagi menjelaskan perkembangan semasa serta pelan pemulihan yang sedang dilaksanakan.

Kami percaya penyelesaian ini hanya dapat diteruskan sekiranya kami diberikan ruang untuk bangkit semula. Sokongan masyarakat terhadap usaha ini bukan sahaja membantu menjayakan pelayaran akan datang, malah turut membantu kami meneruskan proses pemulihan kepada pelanggan yang terkesan.

Kami tidak mengharapkan kepercayaan diberikan hanya melalui kata-kata. Kami berharap kepercayaan itu dapat dibina semula melalui tindakan dan usaha yang sedang kami laksanakan hari ini. Oleh itu, kami memohon agar usaha ini diberikan peluang untuk membuktikan bahawa kami benar-benar sedang berusaha menyelesaikan amanah ini dengan penuh tanggungjawab.
